Students are introduced to foreign cultures through this event with foreign cuisines. Not only will the students enjoy the food, but also they get to interact and apply the foreign language in a dining context.
In addition to the daytime classes offered, there are also preparation classes in the evening to prepare students for the national examination of a second foreign language. Any student who has passed the qualification exam can sign up for the test preparation class. In recent years, students' performance in foreign language examinations has progressed tremendously. Moreover, the student's confidence was strongly established in the preparation process. During summer, a series of activities are designed to promote students’ interests in learning foregin languages.

The Theatre Night is the annual event which every teacher, staff and student at Pu Tai mostly look forward to. Students participate in on-stage drama performances in the second language they learn. Dressed in costumes, sophomores have the opportunity to show their talents in acting on stage. Not only do they memorize the scripts in the foreign language, improve their acting skills, but also their team and leadership skills are strengthened; thus, it creates the most unforgettable memory in their high school life.

“He that travels far knows much” is implemented through students’ study tours to different countries. The visits to countries, such as America, Japan, France, Switzerland, Spain greatly open student’s eyes. Students are granted the chance to use the language they learned from the classroom in the real world.
